in Credit cards
My son who is 24 is planning to travel round Australia for 12 weeks in a couple of months time. At the moment he does not have a credit card and has never applied for one. He has a current account with nat west out of which he pays his pension ( self employed)' mobile phone and car insurance monthly.
What would you advise him to do regarding a credit card, I am wondering if he applied would he only get a low limit if accepted. Would it be a possible option to ask for an additional user card on my post office card?.
Any tips or help would be appreciated

it will depend on PO rules. halifax will allow another user other than a spouse/parter as D D is a user on my acct along with DH. However M&S would only allow DH/Partner.0
