I would be working 30+ hrs a week
I have done turn to us based on £130 a week child car although I probably wouldn't use childcare until I knew that the work was regular.
The figures below are based on £300 pw income
    Working tax credits £181.12
    Child tax credit £115.00
    Child benefit £33.70
This means I would get £330 in benefits on top of my £300 a week wages.....is this right as it seems an awful lot?
The WTC is the full untapered amount, it's possible you'd get this for a few weeks till the end of the tax year if you start late Feb or March, but come April it will go down a lot. If you started work now it'd be less too based on what you've written (assuming 6 months of the JSA was contribution based JSA).

Longterm on £300pw (gross) & £130 childcare you'd get about £108 WTC, though to start with you'd get more because of the disregard.

CTC and child ben would be as above.

Don't forget you'd pay about £40 tax and NI on the £300.

Thanks Poppie, much appreciated. Seems to be getting too argumentative on these forums. Starting to put me off wanting to help.

I wasn't trying to cause distress I just personally live by the less information you put over the internet the better!

That said if you know what your doing who am I to complain. :D
