mandatory reconsideration

Hi Anyone know how long a mandatory reconsideration takes for a decision for PIP and if I get a positive decision do I get backdated to claim date or from date of last decision hope I have explained it right Thank you

    I haven't got a clue about MR, as some rumours say they are allowed to take up to a year (but I cannot find actual confirmation of this). If you then proceed to actual appeal, that will actually add to the timescale.

    Unless they have changed the rules, all awards used to be backdated to the date of claiming.
