Yeah yeah payday loans suck and no one wants them, but sometimes you have to. So no judgement and proselytizing, please.

I've used PDUK in the past (to my eternal shame) and agree with the OP. They were the worst for 'phone calls and texts on a very regular basis, whether or not I had a due balance. I recognise the number and just don't pick up. I tend to just put it down to being par for the course that if one deals with these companies, such "side-effects" are almost inevitable...

I have a very small loan with them (I think I owe them about 80 quid although it was over 200 at one point) and I've not heard anything since I changed my phone number ;)

  • Indeed. At that end of the market, missed payments move to being complete write offs at an alarming speed.

Omfg so what bit of "no proselytizing" did you not understand? :rotfl:

To be fair, "proselytize" IS a fairly obscure word.

Financial education would have been a better choice than flamboyant vocabularies

So I took out a small one but .... I did not realise that I would be bombarded by email, text and phone calls for a week BEFORE the due date. !!!!!!? I am going to pay it back! Yet am being harassed worse than if I'd defaulted!

Never again with them. Must be a "better" one around, if there can be such a thing.

Many people like you don't pay them back. You just need to accept that you've chosen to place yourself amongst the dregs of society.
