Multiple bulbs from one ceiling rose

I fancy getting creative and making a feature light like the trendy ones you see - with multiple spiral-filament bulbs bunched together, hanging from a single rose

There's plenty of multi-outlet ceiling roses out there - see link for an example

My concern is that I don't overload the wiring going down this route.
I've seen roses which can accommodate 8 cables/bulbs, which sounds an awful lot.
Is it just a question of choosing sufficiently low wattage bulbs - albeit that collectively they give you the lux levels required?

I'm glad that you think it looks trendy, to me it just looks completely naff.
I suppose it's just as well we don't all think alike.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Lighting circuits are rated for at least 5 amps. That's over a kilowatt of lighting. If need more than that, your electricity bills are going to be horrendous. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
These 'nostalgia' lights are usually 40W0
