Replacement Car Key

Hi

I am looking for some advice on getting a replacement car key for my Peugeot 206cc. The blade on my spare car key has been bent I have contacted my local Peugeot dealership but they said a replacement would cost £170.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If it's just the blade that's bent, go to a local locksmith, they'll probably be able to replace the blade on its own.

Something like this, uncut blade with new case to put your remote innards in.

I went to a local locksmith on Saturday. They programmed and cut a new key and charged me £50. The Suzuki dealer quoted me £120.

They usually clone your key though. Where a dealer will plug your car in and add the new key with its own unique code, And erase any missing keys.

A cloned key will have the same number so if you block one it also blocks the other.
