I thought Capital one were good but Monument owned by Barclaycard are meant to be good accepting people too.

Apparently Cap One take anyone for the £200 credit limit card, as long as they pay a £200 deposit, and aren't currently bankrupt. A few others on this board know more details on this than me...:o

Have you phoned them to ask why they rejected you?
If it was easy, everyone would do it!

apparently i didn't have a high enough credit rating.but how can they say guaranteed acceptance when this is obviously not the case.

Which Capital One card did you apply for?

I understand Capital One only guarantee* to accept you on the Classic Visa Card not the Premier/Platinum Mastercards.

    * UK residents, aged 18+, able to provide proof of id and address, not bankrupt and or on the fraud database and able to provide a £49 - £200 deposit (if required).
