CCJ hasn't dropped off, when should it go?

We had a few financial problems a few years ago which we've been paying the price for. One thing is a ccj my husband got on the 23rd January 2008. 6 years is up today, but I've checked his file this morning and it's still showing. When will it go? We're currently wanting to move and a ccj will have us declined, so we've paid to reserve the property and will be credit checked after it's gone, which was hopefully going to be tomorrow because they won't hold it indefinitely for us, so any advice would be really appreciated
