We've been in the process of selling house for 4 months now - and have been waiting to exchange contracts for the last 10 days. EA keeps saying any day now - have head umpteen reasons why its beeing delayed.
Just wish the solicitors would pull their finger out and get things sorted.
The delay is probably normal but can't help thinking that there's something wrong. How long can it take for a chain of 4 to exchange contracts?

aww Jenz... I really do feel for you (((hugs))). I think buying and selling homes is the pits! I swore I wouldn't get stressed about our last move and was then a quivering wreck just selling and moving into rented! I'm dreading going through the buying process again soon. I can't say anything that will help you get your contracts exchanged but just wanted you to know you are not alone in feeling so stressed!“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”
