You could take her to the vets and see if some antibiotics help. Also, you could try asking on a poultry keepers forum. Maybe someone with more experience can offer some more advice.

One of my girls had this problem once and it was resolved by my giving her live mealworms which ate the crop contents.

    Just found this thread :D

I have 6 ex-battery hens roaming around my garden.

I rescued 4 last August Polly, Bea, Henrietta and Rose and then I rescued another 2 in December Holly and Peppa.

I love them all and they provide good eggs :j

That worked a treat. Is white wine vinegar ok instead of apple cider ??

Possibly, but you'll see people recommend the cloudy ACV that you get from equine suppliers rather than the clear stuff from the supermarket.

I've not seen any research that says it is actually significantly better.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

My friend raided her dads fishing box for live maggots which did the trick.

I think the ACV is a guard against worms but my lot are not keen when I put a little in their water. I get my acv from the feed merchants.
Hope she is better soon TC1.

I've got the red plastic 3L water thingy - how much ACV should I be putting in that ? Am currently putting in half a capful from the vinegar bottle because am scared to give them too much.
