Renting - who's responsible for windows?

Hello, we have been renting a house for nearly 6 months now, the contract and lettig was through an agent but the landlords are 'managing the property' meaning we go to them for any problems.

When we moved in we noticed alot of things that we didnt see when we viewed it
Mouldy and rotting round the bath - they put sealant ontop of the mould
No letter box in door - took 3 month to sort
Knob missing from cooker - still sticking my fingers in a hole to switch it on
Windows condensed and steamed up inside the glass - nothing done and ignored when we mention it
To name a few...

It feels like whenever we mention something they cant be bothered and its always a "friend" who comes round weeks down the line

Had our first gas bill after the first 2.5 months and it was ridiculously high considering we moved in in summer.

I believe the windows have something to do with it (besides the ancient un efficient boiler which gets blown out on a windy day) we now cant see out of the landing and the living room window as it is so condensed up between the panes so I assume the seals have gone. You can also see round patches growing inside the panes

Where do I stand with this should they be sorting this out or do they have no responsibility
Would the letting agent be able to advise me on what to do?

Thanks. Im new to all this and just want to know where I stand as we are paying more rent for this than other ones in the same street including ones with more bedrooms!

Your council may help, ask to speak to housing standards.

The letting agent will tell you it's nothing to go with them, which is correct. Save you the call
