Tnc collections

Hi guys, anyone know of this company who continue to text and sent red letters demanding payment for parking in a visitors space in Edinburgh ?? Fees now up to £140 and getting beyond a joke.

Surely this cannot be legal ??? They say they are collecting on behalf of p4parking Scotland. Any advise appreciated :-))

  • The advice to ignore still stands in Scotland.

Don't know how on earth they've got your phone number though.

It's not legal and is harassment of the registered keeper - seeing as keepers are not liable for private parking charges in Scotland. Why not just complain to the BPA as mentioned in the two sticky threads I started at the top of the forum? Write ONLY as the harassed registered keeper, not describing any parking event nor PCN, and making it clear you are in Scotland and you are complaining about P4Parking and their agents (not only about TNC as they are not a PPC).

But you can also complain about TNC with their own trade body, the Credit Services Association. Google and read their Oct 2013 Code of Practice, find where TNC have overstepped it and send an official complaint to the CSA as well.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
