A friend of mine who is a plumber by trade aged 68
was told he had to employ a Corgi reg plumber to do a 5 min gas job
because of the new regulations. This was to prove that the work was done by a competant person to get a certification certificate. This was in his own home.He could have done the job himself but he was told it could invalidate his house insurance.0 -
it is correct that you nly have to be competant
however in law the only person who is deemed competant is one who has an ACS qualification and is CORGI registered.
CORGI is there for a reason
dotn take risks - use a professional0
