Work Programme query

I have been on the WP for a 10 months, have a really nasty adviser, she is very bossy etc. anyways I have now found myself employment, without the WP help. My adviser knows i am now in work, as she called and my mum told her. She keep trying to get as much info as possible about my work from my mum, but my mum would not let here know all the details etc
However my adviser keeps calling my home line wanting to know where I work etc, all the details etc. Its very annoying as she said she would have to keep calling till she had that info to fill out her forms to take me off her database. However why should I let her know these details so she can claim commission from me when she was very unhelpful and found the job without her help.
my question do I need to give her all this info and will she ever go away :rotfl:

no you do not need to give her any info, send her a letter recorded saying you do not wish her to phone your home again and it is upsetting you and disstressing you and your family, send it recorded, also see if your phone company has a call barring feature or look into changing your home number.

the best thing to do tho, is just hang up or ask her to hold for a minute while you get a pen, then leave her waiting for 3 hours whilst you look for one :rotfl:

you are not getting JSA now, they have no power over you.

I too have just got a job and mine told me that "you know you still HAVE to keep in touch" yeah right :D

yeah exactly , I not signing anymore havent now since beginning of january and she keeps phoning. For the first week my mum put the phones on silent, and then we had a break without any calls and now she started again, and specifically said to my mum she will keep calling till she has all the info of my new job for her forms. wow harrassment. i finally thought I'd got rid of them. lol... funny I've heard more from her in the past few weeks than the 10 months I spent under her command, they were useless. Even more silly is the actual JC who pay me havent even sent me a letter or a phone call asking why I did not attent my signings. But the WP are a different story.

depends who you are with but some phone companies will allow very easy number changes or if you say you have asked for them to stop but they continue they will intercept the call and block it, worth asking what measures they have in place.

The letter should work and if she continues call police and ask them to have a word.
hassasment by phone is treated very seriously, there are tough laws in place.

Just what ever method you prefer, the letter or looking for the pen etc

Good to know you are putting her to a lot of trouble, think of that every time she rings.

Good on you for making a stand.

Well, you could just tell her where to stick her request the info, but bear in mind you are sentenced to the WP for 2 years so if you became unemployed again and claim JSA within that 2 years you will be summonsed back to see them ;)

btw, they will keep trying to contact you regardless of what you do - under the guise of ...'in work support' :rotfl:

Just ignore them, so much easier and you'll know they'll be getting frustrated ;)

On 'the other' work program thread someone says its foolish to play games with WP - no it isn't, it's a laff :D
