Hi , I have a question I need answered if anyone can help. My wife has an joint savings account with her father, there is about 2 grand in there which is completely her father's. Her father is in the proceeds of going bankrupt, will this affect our financial credit ratings or any thing else at all

If its just a savings account then she won't be financially associated with him on her credit files. Financial associations on credit reports are only created by credit accounts.
If he owes money to the bank with the savings account then there may be a small chance it could impact on your wife with just that bank (if she tried to borrow from them for example). As they will likely have them linked on their internal records.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
He will need to delare the savings to the OR, I wouldnt try to hide itDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
