income support

Hi not sure whether this has already been covered but cant seem to find relating to my circumstances.
I work part time 15 hours per weekans was wondering whether i could claim anything from income support. I live with my parents and my wage comes to £80. (although i could probably get it to 16. I was claiming jobseekers but they was only giving me four pounf a week, so it didnt seem worth the bus fare. I was just wondering whether i was entitled to more because i thought that there was a certain amount the government said you have to live on. I have tried finding out but with all the different benefits its like a minefield and i dont want to slip up for the worse. Your help would be much appreciated, thanks

Type in your circumstances and see what it comes up. It's pretty accurate I would say.

You can;t get Income Support unless you are either unfit for work (aka sick), a single parent or get carer's allowance.

You could *claim* JSA again, but if you've got £80 wages on 15 hrs work, you wouldn't get anything as the limit is £59.15 (for an over 25 yr old) + £5 allowance for earned income.

You can't get HB as you're living with your parents.
