benodorm hotel reccomendation wanted

My OH and i are wanting to go to Benidorm on 22nd March for 7 days flying from blackpool. We would like half board accomodation but don't have a clue which hotel to choose. We have a budget of £1000 inclusive of spending money. can any of you guys out there reccomend any good hotels?

The Don Pancho is very good. Not one of the cheaper options though so check out Trip Advisor.

How much of your budget are you keeping for spending money?

For a decent half board (by decent I mean edible food) you're going to be looking at around £350pp for those dates. I'd look at the Mont Park, Voromar, Hotel Primavera, Don Jorge or even the MedPlaya Hotel Regent. They would all come in to your budget, but only if you left the suitcases at home!

The best hotel in Benidorm I have been in is the Flamingo Oasis it is an all inclusive and caters great for the customer. First choice use it.

We have stayed in Benidorm at several hotels, I would recommend the Helios very central for everything but you won't be disturbed by noise, the worst one we stayed in was the Ambassador food very poor, the Riudor is adults only, excellent food but rooms dated and older clientele but we tend to go out in the evening hth

I presume you are referring to me? I don't work for Last Check so I would not class it as spamming. I have used them several times and have been happy with the service.

I have also used Low Cost Holidays, Travel Republic, Alpha Rooms, On the Beach and many many others. It's just that I usually end up going back to these as the price is usually better. If it's not I'd have no hesitation about booking with someone else.

I have worked in travel for many years, I used to work for Thomas Cook as a travel agent and also many moons ago for My Travel overseas. I now teach travel and tourism so I do feel I have adequate knowledge to respond to peoples posts and point them in the right direction when needs be.

OP, are you looking for a package holiday or a separate flight and hotel deal ? Flying from Blackpool you are restriced to using Jet2.com as they are the only airline who fly to Alicante from Blackpool.

Flight only with Jet2 costs about £450 for 2 of you, which leaves a pretty small budget for your hotel if your £1,000 includes spending money.

Or you could go for one of Jet2's own package holidays - the cheapest for Benidorm is priced at £755 for the week staying at the Esmeralda Beach Hotel. Their others are priced at between £825 and £950.
