  • Is there anywhere online that I can get a calculator where I input my meter readings and the cost of the units (whatever they may be) and it will calculate my bill for me? Could MSE put a calculator onling for us? Thanks.

There are hundreds of combinations of tariffs, that all vary for the 11 districts in UK, also by payment method and various discounts; some of which are added at end of year.

It would be a huge task and you would need to input masses of information.

If you have the readings and the cost per unit then what you are looking for is a calculator!

Is dragging a laptop to the meters or writing down the readings and opening a webpage really easier than:

    doing one subtraction
(then, only if gas - doing one multiplication)

    and getting your result?

(Also remembering you have to add between a fiver and a tenner per month for standing charges.)
