Santander 123 - should I be wary?
Comments
-
I have two 123 accounts and they are both functioning perfectly without issue. I have had issue with Santander in the past, but not for a while.
The issue in question, which you might want to bear in mind, is that their trigger fingers seem more twitchy than other banks (though no one can know for certain). So if you behave 'erratically', for example by not using the account apart from 2 direct debits and a £501 deposit, and then you suddenly want to move thousands around all over the place, their system will flag it.
But there's nowhere else that will get you that sort of return on £20k so its worth a phone call if it does happen!0 -

Indeed, e.g. people's new accounts getting frozen just after opening when transferring in their savings...

Indeed. A phone call I can deal with. Months of having cash locked, not so
Thanks, all, for the feedback.0
