Nexus 7 death

My Nexus 7 has just died - I forgot to charge it this morning and the battery went completely flat when I was using it...
Now - it has been charging for a good hour and shows no sign of life.
Has anyone had a similar experience ?

It's OK - I held the power button on for 30 secs to fix it......0

I think you should hold the power button on for 30 seconds, that'll probably fix it.

PHEW!
Panic over - I'm glad I read this topic, I was beginning to worry a little since it went dead and has not sprung back to life yet.
Charging and at 2% now.
