I had exactly the same idea, QueenLizard when we also changed our BB to BT. (although we only got £25) We went online and chose carefully lots of their Basic Range that I knew to be good. All things that would keep.
Things are going to be quite tight for us in the coming months so I've now got a lovely stock of LG rice, strawberry jam (8 jars!), peanut butter, sage and onion, sausage and beans (love these on toast), marmalade, baked beans, tinned tomatoes, 6x 80 basic teabags (amazingly good IMO), cooking bacon, bleach, pitta breads, brown sauce, and lots more but all from their Basics Range.
We even managed to pop in a couple of bits reduced from the home section. Was planning to buy flour but was shocked that it was 20p a bag dearer than Morries.
