Going against the grain here ...
NatWest! No question.
I have had so many problems with Nationwide. Not to mention my local branch being staffed by the most unhelpful people they could possibly employ.
My three nearest NatWest branches on the other hand have always provided me with perfect service.
I also much prefer the NatWest Android app over the Nationwide offering, which is little more than a browser portal for the website.
Of course having said all this, the real answer is just have accounts with all of them. I use whichever bank or building society is the best for whatever particular action I'm trying to take.0 -

Are you talking about the same Nationwide as I am?!
The Nationwide android app that I have on my phone is significantly more than just a browser site, it's a proper fully-functional app ... are you thinking of Lloyds/Halifax?0 -
The only benefits that RBS/Natwest has over Nationwide that I can think of are somewhat dubious and going for rather niche areas of the market...
- If you frequently lose your card, their 'Get Cash' facility could be useful. But it would be more useful to carry a spare card, as 'Get Cash' is restricted to their own ATMs.
- If you want a decent income stream from compensation, an RBS/Natwest account is highly recommended, as customer service is not their strong point (to put it nicely).
- If you frequently pay in cash/cheques and don't have a Nationwide branch nearby (but if this was the case, the OP wouldn't have asked the question).
I think it's fair to say that whilst everyone has different requirements, it's a very small minority of people for whom a Natwest/RBS account would be better than a Nationwide account.
As a student/graduate, NatWest are the way forward.
Also, if you want a Contactless Debit Card, Nationwide do not offer these.
NatWest's iPhone/iPad app are much better than Nationwide's (IMO).
NatWest has more branches and more machines in branch.0 -

But if they're still wearing it, it'd be good to see if they can give us a couple of USPs? Maybe we've all missed something.
'All'?! That's clearly not the case now is it?
