Bugaboo Donkey advice needed

Are there any mums out there with one who could answer a question for me.

I'm going to view one in mono but it has a carrycot and the seat unit. What makes this a mono and not a duo? Won't I just be able to adjust the frame and put both on there meaning it can carry a newborn and a toddler? I know that if I wanted an extra seat until I'd need the expansion pack kit but as it is I can't see why it couldn't be a duo but I don't know enough about them and don't want to go all the way to view if is need to buy loads of extras to make it a duo.

I have asked the seller but they don't seem to know either and I thought there must be a few mummies on here who would know :)

Thanks in advance

The bugaboo donkey is one pram which can be used in mono or duo mode. In mono mode it will have either one seat or carrycot and the basket. In duo mode the frame is expanded slightly and 2 seat units, 2 carrycots or 1 carrycot and 1 seat unit. If the pram in question has a carrycot and a seat unit yes you could put both on the pram, but would potentially need to buy another seat unit when your baby needs a seat.

P.s try your toddler in the seat, I've heard they're pretty small seats.

The carrycot and seat unit fit on the same frame so they might only have one frame, but the fabrics for the carrycot and seat.

If they only have one seat frame then you'll need another one to make it into a duo.

Should explain it on this page. Backs up what gobbeldygook has said.
