Parking Ticket From Premier Parking Solutions

Hi I would love some advice on this one....
I am a company car driver and parked today in a car park in Paignton. I paid for a ticket for two hours, the instructions on the ticket clearly told me to "fix ticket inside window" the ticket wasn't adhesive unlike other tickets I have had in the past so they offered me no method of displaying the ticket according to the instructions, so I fixed the ticket on the window with sellotape.
When I returned to my car I had received a parking charge notice for £100 and I noticed that the ticket had come away from the window and fallen onto the passenger seat (still visible). I had paid the correct parking fee and displayed my ticket, but had still been issued with a fine.
I have appealed the ticket via email enclosing a photo of the valid ticket, what are my chances of fighting the ticket and has anyone any advice on this as obviously there is no loss to the landowner as I had actually paid for my parking?
Sarah
Any advice gratefully received!

No you hadn't, this isn't a fine.but had still been issued with a fine.
You'd lose if you repeat that weak appeal point at POPLA stage: 'the ticket had come away from the window and fallen onto the passenger seat (still visible)' is a complete NO-NO, a loser at POPLA stage.what are my chances of fighting the ticket and has anyone any advice on this
You will win if you follow our advice on 'How to win at POPLA'. Clearly you haven't yet read the 'Private parking ticket? Newbies please read this first!' sticky FAQs thread near the top of the forum - so read it now. We win 100% of appeals.
Can you show us a photo of the sign there? Take a photo if local, and post a broken link to it this week while you await the rejection letter and POPLA code.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

...and you will win! I faced similar extortion from the same company recently (Ivybridge) and found all the help required through this forum to be successful. The message that these companies rely on making individuals feel they would rather pay than oppose their unenforceable actions is true. Stick with it and read the plentiful posts designed to assist and you will get the result.;)0
