Can I claim back ppi from a barclys credit card from 1998 ? They sold my credit card debt to a DCA and am wondering wether I could claim to pay off debt. Tired &confused

    If you have valid reasons for mis sell then yes, do you have statements to show PPI being paid?, if you do then this will help your claim greatly, 1998 is a long time to claim back for if you have no proof.

    Yes I have proof I have kept all barclay card statements from day one. Thank you
  • Hi - don't give up! I had two loans with Co-op Bank, one 1987 and one 1990. I had the agreements and most of the statements and despite initially being rejected (and lots of posts on here telling me it would be rejected) I took the case to the ombudsman. Quite quick and painless and am chuffed to say that today I received a letter from the Co-op Bank with an offer. My loan was not sold on as yours was so not sure how that affects it, but I would say - DON'T GIVE UP!!
