Is a tesco credit card worth it?

Beyond getting vouchers every once in a while does anyone know if the charges are greater than other cards? I like the thought of it if I can clear it every month but perhaps there are better cards out there with some kind of benefits.

there are no charges if you pay in full and on time with the tesco card.

if you obey the T&C and pay in full every month there are no charges or interest except for cash withdrawal or foreign handling

but yes there are better cards depending upon your circumstamces

Have a read of the MSE cashback cards article to compare the Tesco card with others and see if there's anything there that takes your fancy....

Whilst I agree the sentiments of others who advise you of ways to avoid any interest, if you do really want a credit card and do not plan to pay it off in full every month, then Tesco do a card with a typical APR of just 7.8% which is very competiive for a credit card (and not too bad compared to an average unsecured loan).
