Yeah tried the Mortgage application and I do have a sizeable deposit of £60,000 to put down but had no joy.

What's source of the deposit ?
  • Thanks very much. I will try writing again and send it recorded delivery. I will mention that I have started a complaint through their complaint procedure, and state that I have also put my complaint in writing to the Financial Ombudsman. Maybe that will get them to take a bit more notice! Thanks again.
  • Hi, my deposit is personal savings of both me and my partner, as well as profit that we made from the sale of our last house.
  • Thanks for all your help and advice so far. I have filled out a complaints form following NatWest's own Complaints Procedure and I will contact the Financial Ombudsman in the morning. I will also try writing to Natwest once more but will send it recorded delivery this time and see if I get a response. Thanks again. Your help is very much appreciated!

You need to give NatWest eight weeks to resolve your issue once you have logged an official compliant before they will get involved.
