Ford Options

Hello everyone I hope someone could give me a little bit of advice.
I have a Ford KA on the Ford options and am coming up to my two years and am almost 50% through.
Times are getting a little hard at the moment and am looking to get a mortgage soon so decided to cut my loses and just give the car back.
Now when speaking the fords about this they told me if I am to just give the car back I will get negative impact on my credit rating.
Now first of all is this true? I know what car dealerships are like and obviously I don't want this to happen because it will my life harder getting my mortgage.
Thanks in advance.

If you have reached the point of voluntary termination and can hand the car back without penalty then I don't think that a mortgage lender would be unduly concerned.
More important to a mortgage lender would be that your ongoing outgoings have reduced and so likely they would assess your affordability to have improved.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

I mean I think they may of been making it sound a lot worse then it actually will be.0
