looking for advice as think ive never had ppi but........
i had a fixed 5 year mortgage with halifax from 08-13. as i work in the civil service, and have a dodgy ticker, i dont bother with ppi. and in my loans/cc etc ive always said no.
could ppi have been added despite me saying no? would it show up on my mortgage statement etc?

If you did it would be a separate direct debit (or possibly itemised in your mortgage statement).0

No. How would you sign the direct debit and application? Remember that MPPI is standalone.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). yes halifax mortgage ppi is stand alone and paid by direct debit (also standing order a long time ago). if its not on bank statements it didnt exist.
but you say you dont bother with ppi, so you have answered your own question.0
