Southern Electric wrong meter, wrong advice

If you have an old analogue timerswitch controlling the switchover times you may well have your cheap rate slap bang in the highest using electricity periods in the evenings. Only last week on here we had a poster who showed a photo of his analogue timer where the night rate was on at 6 pm in the evening. In cases like this you would easily beat the 30% (approx ) break even levels with a little effort of management. If its a radio teleswitch timer or a meter with its built in clock, as you have been advised , look at the ratio of day/night usage0
