SIPP Funds portfolio

hello,
i am looking to start a new SIPP fund (abt 25K to start with) and planning to start it with below portfolio. I am 30 and looking at setting an Adventurous to Medium risk portfolio with an objective of long term captial growth accepting short term volatality. how does the below combination of funds sound against that objective..

i am pretty much a novice at this and have put this togather largely based on recommendations online... Any advice will be highly appreciated..Many thanks..

Cazenove UK Smaller Companies (Class B)- 10%
Lindsell Train Global Equity- 20%
Aberdeen Asia Pacific Equity- 10%
Invesco Perpetual Tactical Bond- 10%
Artemis Strategic Assets R Acc - 10%
Standard Life Inv Global Smaller Companies - 10%
Schroder Tokyo (A)- 10%

I think you have achieved your aim of a medium to adventurous portfolio appropriate for someone aged 30.

Arguably you may have been a bit less successful in your apparent aim of achieving a broad global coverage in that I would guess the two largest areas, US and Europe, are less represented than they could be. You may find it interesting to set up your choices as a Portfolio in Trustnet. This will give you a picture of where overall your funds invest and may suggest areas where it is weak.

With only £25k to invest why so many funds?

Better to invest in a couple of core funds then build from there.

Don't overlook the fact that a high % of equity return comes from dividend reinvestment. Personally I use the income to diversify rather than add to existing holdings. .
