Need the extra cash for what? Something specific? How much for how long?

How much do you save each month? Not dribs and drabs but genuinely save every single month?

Are you on the electoral roll?

You may find the same approach from the majority of lenders - not enough "track record" in the UK.

One of the "sub-prime" cards may be worth trying.

BUT - and this is a huge BUT - .....

Why do you need it ? You say you need extra cash ? A credit card is most definitely NOT extra cash. If you find yourself using it as such, you'll be paying huge amounts of interest, especially on a sub-prime card. The only sensible way to use them is pay them off in full each month - the clue's in the name, they are credit, not cash.

If you need cash, the more sensible approach is a personal loan from a reputable lender - by which I mean NOT a payday loan company. But I fear you may not be accepted, for the same reasons you're having problems getting a card.
  • Time to time have extra payments or extra bills what expected and i there are some products with some months whith 0% apr. I spend about 20 weekly for transport aboutfor bus pass, to40pw food, avoiding fastfoods, phone 33 monthly, clothes etc about 40 per month, i am not partying just working 6days from 7 trying to save7as muxh and time to time sending home to help my mother in Slovakia
  • A credit card isn't free extra money. You aren't borrowing from the bank really, you are borrowing from your future self. It sounds as though your finances are very tight, in which case although a credit card may get you through one month, it will then cause problems for the next 5/10/20 years whilst you try to pay it off.
  • If you are not from UK no major lender will touch you until you have been in UK for a minimum of 3 years.

Have you tried Aqua or a secured credit card?

Is this due to the risk of somebody fleeing the country to avoid their debts?

I guess there's even a higher risk nowadays with the EU where people can move around in over 20 countries without applying for a visa!

But there are still people which really want to work and earl real money to build some credit standard not just sitting or drink all benefits they got
