PPI and Divorce- Name no longer on account

Hi, Need a bit of advice about claiming for PPI.

If I had a bank account solely in my name which I had a loan through then got married and turned this into a joint account and then upon divorce it was my name that was removed. Would I still be able to claim for PPI on loans taken out when the account was solely in my name.

Many Thanks

I would have thought that it's against the name who took out the loan. The only person in this instance was yourself.
