I love my slow cooker, it has an auto mode which automatically keeps food at a safe tempertature. but if I didn't have this and the food did not seem hot enough I would jap it in the microwave for a couple of mins.Slimming World at target0

Do you heat the cooker first before you add the food? I always do and find it's hot when I serve it.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Hi, my slow cooker has 3 settings. High, medium and low. You cook on the high or medium setting. The instruction book states to use the low setting for keeping food warm (so if people are eating at different times). If you're cooking on low the whole time that might be why (mines a russell hobbs). Hope that helps!0
