Microchip Cat Flap - Your Suggestions?

Looking for a Microchip cat flap and there are a few options...

Have seen the SureFlap one and wondered if another has any opinion as to their 'best buy' ?

Worth paying £60 for a SureFlap one or are there cheaper out there? Anyone HAVE a SureFlap one? What do you think?

There are quite a few threads on this board with lots of opinions on microchip catflaps. Just have a quick search.

I have a petporte and think it was fab. Unfortunately, rain got in it and it doesn't work properly now (very exposed door). I've just bought a sureflap to replace it so I can't compare the two yet.

Ithink that's the right way round!

Anyway I paid over £100 for the first one and would happily pay that again. Thankfully the price has come down a bit.

We have the Sureflap one, we've had it for over 6 months and we're very pleased with it. We got it from zooplus.

We have a sureflap and i am very happy with it, got it direct from the sureflap website.

We've had a Sureflap for about 18 months and it's excellent. We have 4 cats that are in and out all day, I think we are on our 3rd set or batteries.
After about a year the little catch stopped working fully but Sureflap customer service were very good and sent a replacement FOC and talked me through replacing it.

Would definitely recommend a Sureflap to anyone.
