Large BTL portfolio hits the market? Anyone agree? Look at the Ropewalk Court apartments, they are all different, each have a unique property reference! Nottingham leads the way.
Ouch.

The whole idea is that I posted a search, with lots of property all the same, advertised the same, but all unique....suggesting a BTL portfolioI can take no responsibility for the use of any free comments given, any actions taken are the sole decision of the individual in question after consideration of my free comments.

Don't speak too soon. There is a story behind Ropewalk Court, and a few other developments around Derby Road. However, it is full of legal wranglings at the moment, so can't say much more (I know one of the previous tenants).Gone ... or have I?0 -
Apologies. The link was working from my machine, so expected it would work for others.
Go to www.rightmove.co.uk and search NG7 1LU + 1/2 mile and enter criteria added in last 3 days.
You will see all the properties I was talking about.
Legal proceedings? Whats the story? We could play guess the story! :jI can take no responsibility for the use of any free comments given, any actions taken are the sole decision of the individual in question after consideration of my free comments.

I think they were built on an old indian graveyard & the current tenants have all been dragged into hell by the unquiet spirits."Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.0 -

Not necessarily. The owner could have gone bankrupt due to their lifestyle.
Happened to a landlord, husband and wife team, near where I use to live who had some of the properties for over 12 years. Was told that they had a bit of a spending problem. All the properties where reprocessed, tenants kicked out and then sold. Being London and requiring work (cheap rents for the former tenants) they were sold very quickly. Mostly it seems to other landlords.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Guess the story is probably more fun!
To be honest, I don't know the whole story, so rather than writing something wrong (and therefore potentially libellous!), I'll keep trying to find out the full story.
Can tell you one thing though, a few of the Forest players used to live there (might attract someone, or put them off!) xGone ... or have I?0 -
i lived down the road from these flats when they were being built. There were so many new build flats / conversion of old properties into flats going up at that time in the city. Are they really all in demand?! I guess they were at the time...0

I got kicked out of my flat by a 'millionaire' BTL boy in 2000 when the market was daft, so don't make too much of it.
He'd got into all sorts of money issues by trying to be the next Richard Branson. Too greedy & got overstreched.0
