Pros & Cons of different Platforms

I know this has been done to death a bit in the other threads but I am interested in the things that are not charge related. If all platforms charged the same would we all be with HL or do other platforms have their advantages. The experiences of people who have moved from HL to other platforms would be particularly interesting. I use a couple of other sites.
Trustnet - I know they don't yet have a platform but one should be being launched within weeks- I am basing this on their site & free portfolio tool.
In my opinion Trustnet has more useful data than HL (particularly re Investment trusts) most of my fund research is done on the Trustnet site. I like there risk scores and the way you can risk score a full portfolio. Their graphs aren't as nice as HL's though IMO. I trust their commentary more than HL's. I don't much like the adverts - but they might not be there on the proper platform.
Morningstar - Don't do a platform at all but their fund data is updated during the day, so by 5pm most funds are reporting a new price - HL doesn't show this data until midnight. Do other platforms update more promptly?
