Hibiscrub - wash it off or not before putting cream on?

For the life of me can not remember what the vet told me and not going to call now and flying away (work) tomorrow with pet sitter in charge.

Zara has (AGAIN) very red/sore skin between her pads and toes on all 4 paws... It happens again and again when there is a lot of rain outside.

I got hibiscrub from the vets last time she had it and I know to dilute it like 1:40 with water before usng on her skin but for the life of me can not remember if I need to wash it off before putting sudacream on or not?

I normally wash it with hibiscrub let it dry and put sudacream on.

Any pointers?

Tried googling but could not find the combination of hibiscrub and sudacream????? And this s what vet told me to do - just do not remember if to wash hibiscrub off before putting the cream or not???

Thanks a millio - in a bit of a panic here, need to let the petsitter know what to do...

I've always been told to rinse it off with clean water (kettle boiled and cooled) after.

You can ring up and ask the vets, they should tell you on the phone. I ring mine all the time, the amount of money they get out of me (and insurance co) they can talk to me about dog's care on the phone! :)

Paws/pads/skin in between much better, almost completely back to normal - just with sudocream alone while I was away so....

But also - was not raining was it?

    Rain makes it worse...

    How to PREVENT it happening?

    :(
  • Rocky went through a period of this between his toes on his back feet- I dry between his toes thoroughly with a towel now when we get back in from a walk or when he has been in the garden.
