Possible to haggle 0% PA?

Options
After a tough couple of years, I'm finally in a position to start paying off my CC (HSBC). I know the advice is to scour and do a balance transfer to a 0% but with HSBC already offering a card with 0% PA for 23 months, is it possible to haggle the existing card to the equivalent PA?

I've always heard that customer retention is priority so any thoughts? Anyone done this in the past and have any tips?

Thanks

(Quick Note - the reason why I'm keen to stay is due to ease of online access. I already have current account and mortgage with them)

    No chance!

They're not going to lose money by giving 0% on existing debt when they can make circa 18.9% APR on it.

Just completed a 0% BT with HSBC. No further offers available so contacted to close card. Customer retentions contacted me to ask why. Explained and received an email shortly after confirming account closed! So I would say your best bet is to try elsewhere eg MBNA.
  • Bank will charge processing fee even there are offering 0% balance transfer, right?

Usually, Maybe 3% for a balance transfer.

But a 0% on spending is usually free of charge.
