Upgrading Cooker Circuit - straightforward?

We are in the process of buying a house (supposedly exchanging within two weeks - so we will see).
House currently has a Dual Fuel range cooker in place (I assume - but have yet to verify - it is on a 20amp cooker circuit). We want to replace that with an Induction range cooker (replacing the cooker, but not the kitchen). Looking at the supplier's website, the new range cooker would require a cooker circuit of 32/40 amps (depending on the exact model that we went for).
How straightforward (for a good, qualified electrician) is it to "upgrade"/replace the cooker circuit? Is it straight forward to "pull the wires through" or similar (i.e. they don't have to dig up the walls/floors)? This is a modern property which was completely gutted and rewired about 3 years ago.
Thanks

Before you go diving in check what size cable actually supplies the cooker now.
A 6mm cable will supply 32A most cooker circuits are wired in 6mm as standard. Some new ovens only require a socket so it is possible the cooker cable supplies a socket and has had a downrated mcb put in place of the normal 32A.
If you had to replace the cable then its a floor boards up job and chase the wall out to the cooker point and consumer unit, done in a day.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
