euro car park not registered keeper

i own the number plate on our car but my husband is the registered keeper of the car via dvla. I recieved a letter from a private car parking company euro park advising I overstayed the required 2hrs at a shopping retail car park and the letter states that as i am the registered keeper of the vehicle i have to pay the £70 charge.
But i am not the registered keeper of the car, I was not driving the car and the letter has been incorrectly sent to me as again i am not the registered keeper i only own the number plate, what should i do.
I live in Scotland.
am I liable to pay as I own the plate
Do i bring this to there attention or do i not respond?
