    Aw a cute one from RedSave again, for £2.13;

This great novelty gift is a little red badge similar to the ones that prefects used to wear at school, only this one reads “Perfect”!

Is it a Freudian slip, or are you really perfect?!

    Features
    • Perfect Badge

    • Printed with “Perfect”
    • Comes in a presentation box
    • Perfect present for Mr or Mrs Perfect!

  • I don't know what to get my boyfriend this year :( but there are some good free Valentine's competitions around. I entered us into a Facebook one with BrandAlleyUK to win a £50 voucher to spend on new clothes for us - think they're giving away 5 lots so worth a go. Hope this helps everyone. x

My dh loves puzzles so this year I have created a little booklet of special, personal puzzles for him using several of the different puzzle generators on this website:
    http://puzzlemaker.discoveryeducation.com/CrissCrossSetupForm.asp?campaign=flyout_teachers_puzzle_crisscross

I printed them, then hole punched the pages and bound them together with red ribbon between two pieces of thin card. I decorated the front, giving it the title, 'Valentine - it's no puzzle why I love you'

    The puzzles I made included:

A crossword where all the clues were based on our lives together (e.g. the clue for 1 down was 'The place we first met').

A wordsearch titled 'I love you because you are...' and then created a wordsearch of all his best qualities (kind, caring, funny etc)

Fallen phrase - a quote from the song we had our first dance to on our wedding day

A double puzzle of anagrams of his hobbies, interests, favourite authors etc that when completed will reveal the phrase, 'I love you with all my heart'

Letter Tiles - to spell the names of our children

cryptogram - I wrote a sentence to express my love for him,

Hidden message - I made a list of all the different places we have been together and these revealed the message, 'Wherever we may be, as long as we are together then my world is complete'

Finally - I made an acrostic of his name using this website: http://www.netrover.com/~kingskid/poetry/acrostic_poem.htm

Obviously, the cost was just the paper, card, ribbon and printing ink.

I know it's a bit 'teacherish' (that's what comes of being a primary school teacher for more years than I care to admit to) but I hope he won't feel it's too childish - Fingers crossed he will like it!
