Has anyone ever won by Retweeting?

I enter a lot of Twitter comps and recently I came across a website which said that Twitter users can only see the last 20 retweets of their competition or status. So does that mean that unless you are one of the last 20 retweets, you don't have much chance of winning?

There are various methods to see all retweets of a post, I think even with standard twitter functions you can find at least 100.0

Companies can also search for their name etc, and many of the Twitter search programmes would bring up a lot more than the last twenty retweets...0 -
I always enter a load of Twitter comps in the morning of the day they finish. I've won over 50 Twitter comps.

I have a Twitter account, but I have uni supervisors etc following me, so never enter any of RT comps

I won a £250 M&S gift card by retweeting a year ago, I haven't won anything else this way but I still do the twitter comps because you just never know, got to be in it to win it

In the last 18 months of using Twitter I've won a bottle of paco rabanne perfume, a children's book, a lacosste bag and a set of fancy shower products that I can't remember the name of. I retweeted all of them. I don't do the 1 day comps that end tea time coz I'm in work all day then cooking tea. Shame really, I think they're good for wins if u have the time.2014 - £12360
