Definitely a complaint to Morrisons and a quick online late challenge to PE with a copy of the receipt, done in minutes on their site. Should get this cancelled in days, especially if the receipt was for over £30.

So, is there a chance here that PE have gone back to using Debt Collectors and no longer pursuing the Court route?

Doubt it - I expect this is a numbers game, too many to take straight to the LBCCC route. But you never know because the tide has turned in some ways, on PE I think.

  • I went into Morrison's and the duty mgr wouldn't come down but the customer services lady took my details and said she would pass onto him. I asked if I would get a confirmation email and she said that Morrison's don't do emails but said that it should be done.

Should I still contact PE with my appeal? (Template RedX posted above). And if so shall I include I have visited the store and they said it should be cancelled?

    Thanks

post #12 told you what to do, so yes is the answer

I would also complain to the CEO office too, putting more pressure on

Yes. Takes minutes and costs you nothing to send a 'get stuffed' type online challenge to PE.

  • Hi Guys,

Just want to thank you for all your help.

I received a letter from Parking Eye today cancelling the charge.

Not sure if my appeal online or email to Morrisons CEO did the job (perhaps both).

    But its over anyway!!!
