Bit of a weird one ... frozen fish food

Hey all,

I appreciate this is a bit of a weird post, but has anyone ever used Frozen Fish Food with their Marine Fish?

I've used live food for a long time, but it's quite time consuming to go and get the food; so I saw these guys offered frozen and just wondered what everyone's experiences with it are?

I buy frozen bloodworm for my fish. I defrost it first in some hot water and they love it. I wouldn't put it frozen Into the tank, I worry what it will do to the water and their stomachs.

I use it for my tropical fish and they love it - again, bloodworm is a particular favourite. I defrost it in a little tank water then pop it in, never lasts more than a minute in the tank!

We use frozen prawn, mysis etc. all good in the tropical and the reef tanks
