Directorship

Hi,

I have split up with my partner some months ago. I am a director of a company he is currently trading. He has asked me to resign, what are the things I should consider before resigning?

Thanks!

You should definitely get proper legal advice, in addition to any comments posted on here.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

This is a marriage/families discussion board, but your question is really about company law - you would be best posting on the small business/charities board. But you really need to be talking to a solicitor to get advice on your actual situation.
