Cannot find 600mm wide bath.

Hey, I rent a property with an old metal bath and it's an off creme in colour but the enamel is coming off, it looks like a complete eye sore. I thought it would be easy to just replace the bath but I cannot find a 1500 x 600mm bath anywhere, it needs to be this size as any wider than 600mm and the door will not be able to open.
The widest we can go is 640mm at a push, but all of the standard bath sizes are 700mm wide and I cannot go any deeper because the original bath is already through the plaster when it was put in.
I've spend hours searching for one - can anyone hand me some advise before I go insane?

That is tiny!
The smallest I can find is freestanding so it has no edges etc, but it's still 685wide - here.
Would a corner unit fit easier and allow the door to open?:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. And what does the Landlord think to this suggestion?0

This Bette version has a slope one end that allows for 650mm at the door end...?

Why dont you ask the landlord to install a new bath? , why should it be your job ?Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

Because we don't mind doing it, plus he is a builder himself and is etremely busy at the moment building 2 houses from scratch. If we found a tub small enough we could fit it easily ourselves, so the installing isnt as issue. Even if we rearranged the toilet and sink we would not fit a full size inWins so far 2011: L'Occitane Rose 4 Reins = £130 -
Does not have to be narrow full length, but needs to be 1500mm in lengthWins so far 2011: L'Occitane Rose 4 Reins = £130

Could you:
Rehang the door to open outwards/other side
Replace the door with a sliding/folding door
Abandon having the bath & get a shower cubicle instead
or, as said, make it the landlords problem - that's what you pay him for0 -

Dont really want to badger the landlord too much as apart from the bath this is an amazing house and don't want to rink him ending our contract if he's up to his eyes building other houses. =/Wins so far 2011: L'Occitane Rose 4 Reins = £130
