moving house changing bills.

Hi I am moving flats from Scarborough to Oakham long way!

Its a great start to the new year though and to trying to be better with money. wanted to find the best deal for energy however have no idea how to go about this.
We currently are in a flat that is all electric no gas. we pay £36 a month direct debit. not very good at putting the meter readings in as the site never seemed to accept them but think we are in debt and will owe them like 200 quid when we move out.

we are moving to a gas and electric flat. so its different to what we are on at the moment so hard to compare. all the comparison sites dont seem to have an option for moving home. and genuinely just have no idea how to go about getting a good quote at the moment it feels like randomly picking a company is my best option. anyone been through this and have any advice?
