Can I claim?

Hello!
I have Made 2 claims for PPI in the past using your guides, Capital One said yes, Argos store credit said no. I have a 3rd claim I would like to make, via Lloyds TSB for a credit card. I did take out PPI willingly at the time as the card was for a large amount and I was worried about redundancy. As it turns out, I was made redundant in 2009and made a claim for the PPI guys to cover me while I was unemployed.
Some 4 years ago, I entered debt recovery and assumed my PPI ceased at the time of starting my plan. I was told I no longer had access to my account, could no longer use my cards etc and naively assumed my PPI cover ceased. I was also made redundant for a second time last year and did not claim for my PPI to cover me as I didn't think I had it anymore.
I received a letter just before Xmas 2013 from Lloyds stating as I was under debt recovery my PPI would be cancelled, this is some 4 years after I assumed it had been cancelled. A quick look through my credit card bills (the ones I hadn't forwarded to my debt recovery payment planner) confirmed I was still paying The PPI premiums for this card every month. In all honesty, I hadn't been checking my bills since entering debt recovery as they scared me! I'll be blunt, anyone in debt probably knows this feeling well!
So my question is, can I still claim for a refund on my PPI for the past 4 years? I'm aware anything before this will probably be lost!
Many thanks for any help you can give me!

I suggest you tell them that you had assumed it was cancelled already but as it wasn't, you would like to make a claim under the unemployment cover.0
