Joined Monilink? This may have affected you

I joined up with Monilink through A&L to bag my free £10. Signed up and checked my balance via my phone to qualify for the free cash. All well and good. Then this morning I get a letter and phone call from Monilink apologising for over charging me for the phone balance enquiry message (£1.50 instead of the stated 20p). They are refunding the £1.50 plus compensation of £10 to my bank account.

Monilink say they had a technical issue between May 9th and June 13th which caused the over charge. If you signed up around this time and haven't got a letter I suggest checking you haven't been over charged!
